Ashok Kumar Das

Ashok Kumar Das received a Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering, an M.Tech. degree in computer science and data processing, and an M.Sc. degree in mathematics and computing from IIT Kharagpur, India. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Center for Security, Theory and Algorithmic Research, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India. His current research interests include cryptography, network security, security in vehicular ad hoc networks, smart grids, smart homes, Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of Drones, Internet of Vehicles, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and cloud computing, intrusion detection, blockchain and AI/ML security. He has authored over 270 papers in international journals and conferences in the above areas, including over 230 reputed journal papers. He was a recipient of the Institute Silver Medal from IIT Kharagpur. He has been included in the subject-wise ranking of top 2% scientists from India (all fields) in the area of Networking & Telecommunications, with Rank world-wide (by subject area): 580. He has been also listed in the top H-Index for Scientists in the World for Computer Science and Electronics database maintained by Guide2Research (http://www.guide2research.com/) with Guide2Research World Ranking: 2600 and Guide2Research National Ranking (India): 15 (http://www.guide2research.com/scientists/IN). He is on the editorial board of IEEE Systems Journal, Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier), Computer Communications (Elsevier), Journal of Cloud Computing (Springer), IET Communications, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems, and International Journal of Internet Technology and Secured Transactions (Inderscience), and has served as a Program Committee Member in many international conferences.
